Kamweti Forest (Castle Forest) is an indigenous forest located on the South-facing slopes of Mt Kenya in Kirinyaga County, Kenya.
The Hike is a moderate 20 km trek which takes 5-7 hrs depending on pace.
It features wild animals such as elephants, buffaloes, tropical birds and beautiful scenery with a view of Mt Kenya. The climax is the Kamweti waterfall (Ford waterfall).
