Book – Wise

In two days, I have amazed myself by completing a 190 pages book. Guess what itโ€™s about; well itโ€™s something I have experienced enough to see flaws in my past from where I currently stand. You probably guessed it; dating and relationships part of life.

I came across this book via Facebook when listening to Caroline Mutoko talk about books by an upcoming author Joan, and she happened to mention a book with a really catchy title; HE IS JUST NOT THAT INTO YOU by Liz and Greg. The way she hyped this particular book sent me directly to google; downloaded it and immediately started reading. She wished someone had shared the book with her when she was in her early twenties, oh how much time she would have saved! In one day, I was already 90pages in.

I bet you are curios; now go download it too, and while at it, evaluate your life, have a laugh and thank me later ๐Ÿ˜Š

Books are a life changer. Create a reading culture by identifying which areas in your life need some positive influence, be random too at times and look for recommendations from people you know.

There is something about reading enlightening books that makes me look at the world in a different way

It feels as though my eyes have acquired a new light; Like I was in the dark and now in the light

Reading brings me so much understanding of things I used to wonder or be confused about

My actions subconsciously reflect what is going on in my head without me overthinking it because I have accepted the transformation brought about by reading

Though at times am lazy or in a comfort zone, I push myself to read something since it will influence my thinking, my attitude, my life in a different way than I have known life so far. I mostly read in the bus btw on my way to work, about an hours drive.

Reading influences my life more than clips or audio because I believe 1, seeing is believing and 2, thereโ€™s a lot of effort and concentration involved in reading over watching or listening.

Even after reading, I know I will still make mistakes but am wiser now.

Happiness is: a book that changes your life. Believe me. I can attest to that.

I love that; we lose and find ourselves in books.
